Yishai is a Christian rap artist from Sacramento, California. He received Jesus Christ as his personal savior when he was 18 years old and began studying the Bible and learning how to apply it to his life. Before receiving Jesus Christ Yishai was heavily involved in the gangster rap scene and idolized what is known as "murder-music". He uses his life experiences with the streets to effectively reach people who. He speaks with confidence being sure of the hope in Jesus Christ and the Gospel of peace.

He grew up listening and identifying with gangster rap artists from the West Coast. Therefore his music reflects a West Coast style. His pride in the state of California kept him close to the local music scene and he quickly adapted a California twist. As Yishai grew within the art of rapping he took notice of many other artist outside of his region and borrowed traits from many different regions. Listening to his music you can clearly see that Yishai is a wordsmith. Using a large vocabulary as well as common street vernacular makes him a profound and influential artist.

The music of Yishai is focused on bringing impacting lyrics with an accurate message of the Gospel. Throughout his life Yishai has had the privilege to be involved in numerous theological discussions and debates, which have encouraged the growth of his understanding of the true context of scripture. If there was one scripture that he would say sums up his ministry it would be 1 peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;" Yishai believes that the studying of Gods word is often taken for granted and under emphasized. He believes that many problems within the church stem from a lack of knowledge and testing the spirits. Therefore his aim is to bring truth to his listeners as well as encourage and challenge them to increase their study of Gods word. He believes that the study of Gods word is crucial to giving God true worship and is dedicated to teaching these truths as the spirit leads. Yishai is currently attending Reyah Biblical Education center learning Biblical Hebrew. He has completed and studied many different courses including: Biblical backgrounds, Theology/doctrine, Church History, and The life of Paul.
Yishai is dedicated to spreading the truth of Gods word in the form of rap and sees a need within the hip hop community.
